"Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper". - Adelle Davis
Adelle couldn't have said it any better. By eating a large meal for breakfast, not only will it keep us energized throughout the day, but also what calories we digested in that meal will most likely be burned off with our daily routine. In addition, if we skip breakfast, we will feel lethargic and inattentive for most of the day. And in vice versa, if our largest meal of the day is dinner, which it most likely is, our bodies will not be able to burn the calories digested in our sleep, therefore potentially causing a significant weight gain or hazardous eating habit. Although I have always bee a big fan of eating breakfast, I can never find the time to squeeze it in, most likely because I would rather sleep than take the time to go a prepare it which also seems to be the problem for most people I talk to as well. We should all take breakfast more seriously because it has the potential to make us more fit, energized, exuberant, and attentive, which could lead to more success in the classroom and the real world.
