COOL: Temperary, but Permanent
Cool is temperary because whats cool now, wont be cool later. At the same time cool is permanent because there is always something that is look upon as cool. Cool is a game between the media and the people. The media see's a new look the youth has then takes it and makes it the next big thing. That sells for a little while. Then some young trend setter kicks down the media's door, and say's, "It's time for change. You want cool, well I'm cool." Then there is a new big trend that the media uses to sell. When something is different, it becomes cool. When it becomes cool, it becomes a product. When it becomes a product everyone has it, therefore it is no longer different. It attempts to make us all the same. So in the end, what is cool? COOL is what you make. If America became a nudest country, then the media would probably look for ways to advertise cool naked. Maybe body paint or nipple piercings. You never know, but you can be sure the media will not stop. So in the end the best thing to do is just live life.
