i think this is true because now days kids just sit in front of the TV all day long and the parents don't have to watch them because they know that the kids art glued to the TV, and they aren't gonna go any where else. also kids learn a lot from TV from watching the kids shows like Nick Jr. there are shows that kids learn from like blues clues, and Dora the Explorer. shows like that teach kids things like math and shapes, things like that to get them ready for school.
